Rates and Payment

Innocence Rooms provides accommodation in the form of a short-term let, which can be for a single night, but caters also for long-stay guests, where special rates are negotiable. Room prices are per room, per night, and include the availability of a selection of hot beverages, sweet biscuits and fruit, plus use of the kitchen.

We accept payment by VISA or MasterCard, with any surcharges passed on at cost.


In the event of cancellation, refunds will be made in accordance with our cancellation policy outlined below.

For security reasons, we will no longer have access to critical card information from 1st October, 2017. Full details will be passed directly to a PCI-accredited payment gateway, who will hold them for the current booking and any future bookings. If you are staying in excess of one week, payments will become payable weekly, 2 days in advance of each week or part-week reserved.

Notice of Cancellation

No charge will be made if a booking is cancelled before 8.00 a.m. 2 full days in advance of the date it is due to commence. Any cancellation thereafter will result in a single night's accommodation being charged.  If one or more rooms are cancelled from a group booking for which a deposit has been taken, a proportionate sum will be forfeited from the deposit. This will be calculated as the number of room / nights cancelled divided by the number of room / nights originally booked.

In the unlikely event we have to cancel your reservation, we reserve the right to do so. However, this would only happen in the most extreme circumstances (e.g. following a fire or some similar event) and you would then receive a full refund of any monies you have paid in respect of your reservation. However, we will not be liable for any sums you may have paid to any other persons in connection with your reservation.

Family Accommodation

Complimentary cots to current safety standards can be made available, subject to 2 days notice of this requirement. We will provide, free-of-charge, a clean mattress cover for the cot, but it will be a guest's responsibility to provide bedding.

Rooms for Disabled Customers

All reasonable steps have been taken to accommodate disabled customers and the Sable Suite, has been specially adapted for this purpose, including wider doors and a Wet Room. However, our property has limitations and disabled guests are referred to the Accessibility section of the relevant location, which describes the property in detail and will be updated as further improvements are made. Alternatively, if you have difficulty walking but do not require a specially adapted room, other rooms are accessible, without the need to negotiate steps, other than door steps. We will always make every possible effort to accommodate your personal requirements, however all rooms are subject to availability and early booking is advised.


It is against the law to smoke within our property and all rooms are strictly non-smoking. Smoking is permitted in the garden. The proprietors will pass on whatever charges are incurred to restore a room to a smoke-free condition (e.g. so previous smoking can no longer be detected), where there is evidence of a particular guest having smoked within the property.

Arrival and Departure

Rooms are available from 3.00pm on the arrival date. However, you are not required to arrive at any particular time and you will have been advised, in advance of your arrival, of a code (changed frequently) that operates the front door and your room details. Room keys will then be available in the door of your reserved room(s). You are requested to vacate your room by 10.30 a.m. on the day of departure.

Following your stay, please leave your room key in the door or on the table in your room. Each key has a heavy fob attached to it, to make it less easy for you to leave with the key still in your pocket! However, should this happen, please post the key back to us at your earliest opportunity.


We regret pets cannot be accommodated within the property.

Unruly Behaviour

We reserve the right to amend, curtail or terminate any contract should the conduct of any person who is party to that contract cause any detriment to the well-being of other guests.

All correspondence will be acknowledged as soon as possible, but certainly within 5 working days.

Your Safety

We believe we have taken all reasonable steps to ensure your safety by installing a high specification fire system that incorporates combined smoke / heat detectors in all guest rooms and stroboscopic lights in the bathrooms. Fire extinguishers and adequate emergency lighting are also features of the fire prevention system and are tested at regular intervals.

The electrical system has been designed to be highly sensitive and a circuit breaker can occasionally trip in the event of a blown bulb, resulting in the loss of ceiling lighting for a whole area of the house. We recognise this is frustrating for guests and are in the process of installing long-life LED lamps in the common areas and where there is no secondary lighting. However, please contact us at once if a circuit trips out and we will ensure the restoration of power within a short period.

Floor tiles in the bathrooms and common areas are of a type offering reasonable grip when wet. However, judicious use of the floor mats is advised. Whilst they are large bedrooms, please note both Vanilla and Ivory, have vaulted ceilings that could result in you knocking your head. We have taken steps to add decorative touches drawing attention to any obvious hazards, but please exercise particular care if you are using one or other of these rooms.

Notwithstanding the efforts we have made to ensure your safe stay with us, you are still requested to have regard for your own safety when using the facilities of the property. By confirming a booking, you confirm your agreement your stay with us is at your own risk. This said, please report anything you feel might be regarded as a hazard, as we will always give priority attention to any such notification.

Personal Items & Valuables 

Please note all personal items and valuables are brought on to the property at your own risk.

Your Security & Parking

The car park has been designed to accommodate up to 6 cars parked alongside one another. This area is covered by security lights that activate when movement is detected. Additionally, CCTV is installed offering further security. However, all vehicles and their contents are parked on the property at the owner’s risk.
